It seems as though there are so many babies joining us these days. I'm so glad these mom's have given me a call to help them create a space for not only their babies to enjoy but them too. After all, as mom's we spend countless hours in the nursery doing feeds, diaper changes, and picking out a new set of clothes after yet another spit up. When designing a nursery I give a lot of though to the aesthetics and style of the mom as much as the teeny occupant. While the space needs to have some playful elements, the room overall should have a sense of calm. As the baby grows and starts developing their own personality and as mom uses the space less, the room can be transitioned into something more kid friendly and less mom-focused.
I'm happy to have two nursery projects in the works, both baby girls! Baby H and one for the C family - who will move their home office elsewhere to make room for baby. The photos will take you to more before shots.
