So I cried but knew this was the right thing. I needed to give my time and attention to one job. Because my family needs me too. I love our home. I'm so blessed to have our home and it gives me so many opportunities to decorate, and tackle DIY projects, and to create with my girls.
So that's where The Chipper Nest will be for the next while, maybe forever. I want to keep posting, keep sharing, just not with the focus of gaining clients. It will serve as our record of time well spent in a well loved and decorated space. I will share our crafts and I still plan to participate in the One Room Challenge twice a year (which starts this week - eep!) This will be my fourth room! Come back Thursday to see what it's all about.
Fall has come and I made the time today to pull out some seasonal decor, finish sewing some new toss cusion covers I started months ago, and washed the floors and walls. I felt good to give my home some love. I need to finish my fall wreath for the front door and perhaps start purchasing some pumpkins.
Our sunflowers are still going strong and I have been pulling in fresh ones each week. I love all the colours we have from pure yellows to some like this intense burgandy and peach ones.
I've got some fall crafts planned for the girls and I will make sure to share our halloween decor in the midst of One Room Challenge madness.
