Brothers and sisters can share fun spaces but finding products to complement the existing wall colours and bedding were a challenge. I hunted a long while before finally finding a fabric for the blackout blind and valance that fit the space. C got bedding that resembled his sisters soft stripped quilt and the circles in the space tie the boy/girl division together.
A budget conscious room all the bedding, shelving, curtains, and decor came in less than $300 to create a unified and playful space while remaining clutter free and vibrant. Matching elements like the shelving dispel arguments over who got what and give both kids a place to store their oodles of money (those piggy banks were heavy!)
