Exciting news! The fabric I ordered arrived! This will be the basis of colours for the playhouse but I also ordered enough to make myself two outdoor cushions for our adirondacks. And getting those done as a decoy is hot on the priority list especially when your five year old insists on opening the package. Thankfully she doesn't know how much fabric is really needed to make cushions.
The more I plan the playhouse the more boho the plans are becoming. So, the curtains will now be getting a pom-pom fringe treatment!
This week I also picked up the solar lights and a bunch of beads to make a bead garland.
This weeks plan include acquiring more building materials and the rest of the stain. Priority this week is to start on the chalkboard wall and some of the other accessory pieces like the railing and spindles. I would also like to get the sewing done and perhaps even make this chair!
How amazing is this? I'm trying to figure out the logistics of having both this and a hanging bar for them in the space under the elevated platform. And if I make one chair I really need to make two...
And if I make two then where am I going to put mine? (Click the photo to link you to the tutorial page.)
