This is the time of year when the sun is shining and it's incredibly warm and all I want to do is plant oodles of flowers. But it's April, in Calgary, and despite being in an el nino year during climate change, I know better than to venture to the garden centre for more than a few indoor goodies (and maybe, just maybe some pansies).
Not being one for knick knacks I love filling my spaces with plants instead. And I love all the colours, shapes, and textures their foliage comes in. And then there's the containers that can hold them. The options are endless! I'm going to show you a few of my favorite for small and larger spaces and hopefully you'll be inspired to add some plants to your home.
And next time you're at the grocery store don't forget to grab a small bunch of sprays! I love this article from Domino magazine on easy styling with cool vases.
